I was invited by RESILIENCE as a key-note speaker for a workshop in  Paris to give a prsentation on training based on BibleOL.

The need for training

Over the years we have in the BibleOL project learned that we need trainers and my focus is now on collaboration with Coordinator of Bible Translation and Mission Program, Ephrem Tariku, at Mecane Yesus Seminary in Addis Abebe in order to implement a full training project over the next years.

I have been invited by the EU project RESILIENCE to share my personal experience in designing for persuasive learning for more than a decade. I firmly believe that BibleOL has potential to train some 10-20 % of all fully trained learners in a class to become trainers. I am therefore currently studying train-the-traner models and developing them for the project in Ethipia.

A presentation of the new PERSUADE model

I have on this background developed a new PERSUADE model for training in BibleOL and will discuss this model with the researchers from RESILIENCE.
